We are going on our very first Disney Cruise (our first cruise ever!) this Dec. I know we are going to love it. Will the DCL offer us any specials for future trip while we're on board? I was thinking maybe I can sneak another Disney Cruise in Feb of 2005 for 4 nights. My kids will be on their winter break, so no problem taking the kids out. If they do give have specials for future trip, what kind of specials are they?

I am just soooo excited about this trip, though it's only for 3 nights, this will be our first taste of cruising...the Disney way!
:earsboy: :boat:

If you are anything like us you will become HOOKED. Our first cruise was Jan 2000 and we are packing for our 3rd right now heading on the 7 night Eastern this time. Our first was a 4 night our second was 7 night Western. I love EVERYTHING about cruising it is the ony way to travel.
Have a wonderful time and let us know when your going for your "second" cruise......

Well if you love Disney you will be hooked on DCL by the time your cruise is over. They usually have a special for onboard booking. It is usually 10% off & onboard credit of some amount.

HAVE FUN PLANNING!

There usually is 10% off of the going rate for the dates of the cruise you want to book and a room credit. These are only good if you book while onboard.

There's no other vacation...cruise vacations are the best...especially DISNEY!

be afraid, very afraid! :earseek:

Hooked?? Yes!!!! We tried very, very hard to book our next cruise with someone else (since we've only sailed Disney and we are WITHOUT kids), but we couldn't do it!! No. 3 - Sept. 2005.

Can't wait!! Working hard on reward points for Disney Dollars, gas cards and cash!!

You are going to love it!!

I believe the onboard booking special of 10% off and a $200 onboard credit applies only if you book a 7 night cruise  so maybe you'll just need to consider doing one of those (like we did)...:boat:

Hey Fantasia, I hate to say it but by the time you've posted on the Disney Cruise Line Forum for a few months, you're hooked already before you even get on the ship.

My guess is that the addiction has already happened.:bounce:

Our biggest mistake was not re-booking on board. After our first 2 3-night cruises, we ended up re-booking two weeks after we got home.

Yes, be afraid!!!! You might end up like me, no cruise scheduled and living vicariously through others!!! I am patiently waiting for the 2006 dates to be available.

My dh thinks I have joined into some disney cult!!! Well, I guess if I have to.......lol It probably wouldn't be bad living on DCL or at WDW!!!!

Ok now I'm afraid.

I just booked our first cruise ever yesterday on a 3 night Wonder. I want to see how our son is on the cruise before jumping into a 7 night but a 7 night Western is my dream. Anyway, if booking onboard do you still pay the $200 per person deposit at that time? Just need to know so that I can be prepared. Because I know that I wouldn't be able to resist if DS enjoys the cruise as much as I hope he will. (he is autistic and we really just never know how he will react... he loves WDW though!!!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe for the 7 night cruises it is $250 for the deposit per person.

I just came back from a 4-day cruse. I saw this deal - 10% off and $200 on-board credit for 7 nights cruise if you booked during the cruise trip.
