I can't believe it, but I have declined on three pincode discounts (under different names, but same address) over the last month or so for December dates. My last one was the biggest discount where I could do a value for $67/night with no conditions attached to the offer. I didn't even want to book it with the idea that I could change later on if a better deal came along.
Anyway, we are booked off site, right now. The only thing that may change my mind is free dining. I just refuse to pay the ridiculous prices Disney wants for food in the parks. I'm already thinking about bringing our own lunch and snacks into the parks if we do indeed stay off site. I would even get free water from Disney and skip paying for any beverages. Then, we will eat a nice dinner outside of Disney proper. We get a great, free breakfast where we are staying. The breakfast is as good as I would do at home and maybe even better.
In my case, it's even harder to stay off site; because, we are dealing with a wheelchair, but I'm determined after 30 on site Disney trips to give it a try this time off property. I may be sorry, but I think we will be fine off site.
If Disney chooses to be stubborn about free dining I can be more stubborn. I know there's a new rumor that's spreading for a possible free dining deal in about a month's time; so, we shall see. I'm not too crazy about any restrictions with any free dining offers like getting a photo package either.
We will be driving; so, this is why we can stay off site. I think we are all over looking the good deals out there for off site properties. If you plan on visiting Sea World and/or Universal it's even easier to consider staying off site.
I guess the point of my post is to say I'm in love with the Disney parks and I can skip the rest.
