I'm a Disney Store CM!

I had a group interview at the Disney Store today. The group consisted of two applicants in this session. The manager said she needed to review my application at the end of the interview (she hadn't looked at it prior to our meeting) and walked the other gal out of the office. She came back in and hired me on the spot! I filled out all of the paperwork and begin training Tuesday evening to work through the holiday season.

I worked at the one in the Glendale Galleria after high school for one day. Yes, one day. The store manager was cool but the assistant manager training me was a real you-know-what. I was young and stubborn and decided I wasn't going to put up with that so I quit.
Now I'd like to work there at least part-time to get an employee discount on all the cute stuff for my kids.

Congrats!! I was part of the first cast members at a store that opened in suburban Chicago several years ago. It was so much fun working there - especially with the discount and occasional park tickets we'd get for Christmas. You'll like it!!!!!

Congrats! I'm still waiting for a phone call. I turned my application in last weekend. I did go back there today to do some more shopping. I would love to work there for the holidays.

The interview referred to everything in terms of Disney and Cast Members. The only time I saw anything related to The Children's Place was some of the paperwork about store policies.

Congratulations. I just got hired at my local Disney Store too! I'm so excited! I really need the money because I want to go visit my old roommate in Disney (maybe), go with my friend over Spring Break, and I want to do another CP! Whew!!

Thanks iNTeNSeBLue98. I really only wanted to work at the Disney Store. If it couldn't be actual Disney, then this is the next best thing. Hopefully I'll be working in Disney again in May-December.
