I got rude with the reciept checker lady at Walmart....my first experience with this new "policy". I had 4 year old and a bag with my right hand, two bags, my purse , and a 12 pack of toilet paper in my left hand and arm. Checker lady asked for my reciept, and I told her it was in my wallet. She asked for it again, and I asked her if she was serious (I had walked all of 10 feet...there was a reason I went through the "close" register after all!). As I was putting down all of my things, and unleashing my child upon Wally World, someone walks out the door behind her, and she literally chases him down (out into the lobby) and tells him she needs his reciept. She stands out there, waiting for him to find his reciept, while I'm inside with my mine. It was rude, but I was peeved ....I told her in a loud so-you-can-hear-me -from-15-feet-away-voice "Excuse me, but you just made me put down all of this stuff so I could show you the reciept for my $20 worth of stuff, and now you're out there. I have things to do today too!!" She waved me on! I don't know what made me madder, the fact that I had to put down my bags and dig out the reciept (the cashier COULD have told me that they would need it at the door) to prove that I wasn't trying to steal 12 rolls of TP, or that once I did all of that, it really didn't matter to her what the heck was on the piece of paper I had in my hand. Thanks for this question.....vent over..... shopping at Target from now on!!!!

Is that as bad as forcing her to ride a scary ride?




For the record, she did fine on the hike and is now really proud of herself for overcoming her fear and making up the steep, rocky, narrow part.
