What is your favorite place to view illuminations?

You will get a million answers to this one. I have a feeling, for some people such as ourselves, once you watch it form a certain spot, it becomes "your spot" for sentimental reasons. We always watch from just in front of the Japanese restaurant, standing up on the stairs. Not a popular spot but it isn't usually crowded. Then we walk the OPPOSITE way around the World Showcase (toward Italy) to let the crowds thin out at the busses.

We also love Japan, but I will second the opinion of whichever direction is up-wind. On a really windy night, the down-wind crowd will be covered in a sooty smell and they will have a hazy-at-best view of the fireworks.
