Illuminations not listed for October

I just had a look at the park hours for October (because we are thinking about another trip) and I was wondering why Illuminations is not listed in the calender?

If I look into today schedule then it is listed. But not for October. Will this be added later to the schedule or can this mean that Illuminations will not be on in October? All other fireworks shows (Wishes and Fantasmic) are already in the schedule.

And by the way: Has it been confirmed that Wishes and Spectro will come back after SummerNightTastic? Because both are listed for October. And I would not be mad if the MSEP would stay a little bit longer. But I would also love to see Whishes.

Official page: AK open from 9am-5pm

Or Fantasmic 9th October:
WDWinfo: 7:30 (although the park closes at 7pm according to WDWinfo and the Official page)
Offical Page: No Fantasmic on 9th October

Í've called Disney world last night, and the castmember told me there IS Illuminations every day in october. It will run at 9PM.

At Magic Kingdom fireworks will be shown at 9PM on non-MNSSHP nights and special Hallow-wishes at 9:30PM on MNSSHP nights.

None of the sites are 100% accurate all the time, including the official one.

Yesterday several posts were made on the Theme Parks board about problems with the official site and particular reference was made to the absence of a listing for Illuminations. I have never known it not to be listed. Illuminations is the only fireworks show of all the parks that runs nightly throughout the year.

Regarding the AK opening hours, all you can do is speculate. It was listed as 9 - 5 so I dont know if that has changed as Disney does amend park hours, but usually does so much closer to the time when they have a better idea of anticipated crowd levels. They have even been know to make changes on the day . The good news is that this is generally to extend hours as they see fit, and they are very unlikely to cut hours.

I don't have it with me as I am at work now but I compared my October hours for this year to the final ones from last year to get an idea. You can search for historic hours or just google October park hours 2009 and see what comes up.

We experienced this last year on our first WDW visit. We have also been in October and we have seen many changes to the schedule but all of them were extensions. (Longer hours and more Shows like Fantasmic)
