Illuminations & Night Safari?

Hello! I am taking a quick solo trip to WDW later this month and am looking for advice. I'm only staying three days and two nights, and one of those nights is already spoken for (AK DAH). I'm planning to spend my other night seeing Illuminations at Epcot, which closes at 9 that night, but I'd also love to go on the Night Safari at AKL Kidani Village, which starts at 10. I imagine that would be cutting it close, but is that feasible? Should I even bother?

That would not be feasible at all.
Illuminations is about 14 minutes long.
Then you have to get out of Epcot.
If you're taking a bus there is absolutely no way you will get there by 10.
Even if you get a Minnie Van still highly doubtful you'd make it to AKL and onto the night safari.
You're gonna have to choose.
Personally I'd go with Illuminations unless you have another trip planned before the end of summer.

I agree with the Queen, it would be very difficult to make it. But if you want to try I suggest watching Illuminations in France, once it is over take the IG to the Beach Club, use Uber/Lyft to AK and then go straight to Safari.

If everything goes right and you're a pretty fast walker you should be at AK by @ 9:45. I'm not recommending this because you'l be rushing and you still might not make it.

I am doing the safari in May and we were told to be at Sanaa, the meeting place, 15 minutes beforehand. I agree with the other Queen--not feasible.

Feasible? Yes. Risky? Yes. Stressful? Yes.
If you are going to attempt it, then I agree with the suggestion above to watch from as close to the IG as possible and boot it to BC to grab an uber. If all goes perfectly, you would make it a bit before 9:45, but lots of stars need to align for you. If you have a car, there is a slightly less risky scenario of watching Illuminations near the entrance to WS from FW. Fast pace walk immediately after the show is over to the front entrance and to your car, you remove the unknown of wait time on the uber. You're solo so maneuvering your way through a crowd is easier since you don't have to keep track of anybody else.
