Illuminations music on ABC

During the inauguration coverage tonight on ABC I heard the music for Illuminations as they cut to a commercial. We were like “wait what is that music? Is it? It is?” I can see playing it as it is such great music…

I heard the same thing!! My partner also thought he heard music from "The American Adventure" earlier during the broadcast too. (I didn't get home until later, so I'm not sure what he was hearing.)

Yeah - we heard it also. I posted this on the disbrides board. It was so wonderful hearing that music. We just love any reference to anything Disney. We were just married in Disney this past November and did an IllumiNations dessert party and it was the best part of our whole day.

ABC has used the music before. I remember them using it to advertise... either July 4th coverage or maybe it was New Year's Eve coverage, I can't remember which. I guess that's the synergy of Disney and ABC being owned by the same people.
