Illuminations from the Boardwalk

I read on another thread that you can see Illuminations from the Boardwalk. Can you hear the music - and see it as good from there? Thanks.

You can only see the high level fireworks (there are a lot), but there is a lot going on at water level also. If you can hear the music, I would think it would be faint.

As Dan said, the most you'll see is a few of the highest fireworks. And hear some faint music. You'll need to be inside Epcot, at the World Showcase lagoon, to see the globe, the fire and water effects, the lights, and most of the fireworks. It's really worth going into Epcot to see.

I couldn't believe it when someone said they saw it from the Boardwalk. But I was trying to fit the Boardwalk in and didn't want to miss Illuminations. I'd rather get the full experience then just see a few fireworks and hear some light music. I'm glad I asked. Thanks

If you're staying @ the Boardwalk you may be lucky enough to have a view of Illuminations from your room & that is pretty cool, but like the others said you only see the higher fireworks & you can vaugely hear the music, but it's still really cool.I've been lucky enough to have this view several times & it's def. nice to be able to just sit back & relax in the comfort of your own room & still catch the fireworks. If this is your first time seeing Illuminations then I definitelyt reccomend you stay in the park & get to the the "full" show. It really is quite an amazing show & you'll love it!
