Hello... I have seen differign opinions of this so here goes my question...

Can you see Illuminations from Chef de France? If so, where should we ask to sit ..... I have never seen Illuminations on the two times we have been before so I am excited by this.:yay:

Between trees, low walls, food & beverage stands, and any guests watching the show, I imagine the view would be very minimal, if there was any view at all. If you were sitting by the window, you may be able to see some of the higher fireworks effects, but I'm not sure. Chefs de France is located on the opposite side of the sidewalk from the lagoon, it is not on the water. It is not a spot for viewing the show. Sorry. :( I would recommend an earlier dining time so you can take a stroll and find a spot to see the show. The bridge between France and the UK pavilions is a close spot, and a very good view.

1) Chefs has a poor-to-bad view.
2) Bistro has a much better view of Illuminations.

On our trip last year we had a late reservation at Chefs and "watched" Illuminations from the restaurant. You can see it but you are not really part of the experience. This year we made our reservations for 7:00 so we were sure we'd be finished in time. We watched the show from outside and I would recommend you do the same.
