I understand ppl from the Boardwalk hotels go to the bridge to see Illuminations. Can this be done without entering EpCot? or is the bridge after the entrance?

There is a bridge between the boardwalk and beach club that some people watch the fireworks from. You do not have to enter the parks to go to this bridge, but you will only see the higher fireworks from there, it is certainly not the best spot. I wouldn't make a point of going there just for that, but if you happen to be in the area and don't want to use a park day, that would be an okay spot.

I agree with Terry S. the bridge isn't the best spot to see the fireworks at Epcot. As stated the only ones that you can really see are the higher ones. Last year we walked from Epcot to the Boardwalk (it was a long walk) and I have thought about attempting to see if the veiw was better just outside of the Epcot entrance that leads to Boardwalk. If you try this and it works PM me and let me know how it worked. (Our trip isn't scheduled until December)

Another tip, take the boat from Boardwalk to the Epcot entrance and watch and then take the boat back to Boardwalk. It'll save a lot of walking.
