Illuminations fireworks

I just returned from a great two week stay, everything was just incredible. The only thing that I did notice was that it seems that there are less fireworks at the illuminations show. We were down in Dec 05 and we couldnt believe the end of the show but this time it seemed like they cut out the real big ending, anybody else notice this ? Thanks

The ending in December is a special one written for the holidays.

It is not the best quality, taken with a digital still camera, with a video function. Gives you an idea though, and the sound.

Nice to see that video... but I love Illuminations so much I would be a little sad to get this version instead of the regular version, even if there is more fireworks, I just love the regular music and show way to much.

When Christmas season starts. It is amazing when they shoot up them all at the end. We also like to stick around for when they blow off all the fuel in the fire float an hour after park closing. They say something like 'we hope you enjoyed your day at Epcot. Watch us use the rest of our fuel" They make a big fire on the raft.

Yay- we were thinking the exact same thing! We just saw it like 2 and 3 nights ago and were so disappointed with the difference from the Christmas version. We were wondering why the fireworks quite tame compared to previous December visits.

However, we really enjoyed the "normal" Wishes. I was pleansantly surprised with this version. We didn't really like the Christmas version of Wishes, but this past trip we found the perfect spot and were able to enjoy the fireworks from a fantastic vantage point. I guess that kind of changed our outlook on them.

That was a nice video of the show. I could never watch it standing behind a camera though.

The holiday version is absolutely amazing - just about moved me to tears last December.
