Does anyone have an estimate as to what these cost? Are their minimums? I am having about 30 people. Thanks.

As of March 2005, they charged an escort fee ($90), viewing fee ($12.50 pp), plus the F&B pp (we chose the "Child in You" menu $17.50 pp). Some locations have a minimum guest count (Isola 100 min. guests). HTH!

Whats the "child in you" menu consist of? Thanks for the info, I'm trying to work out a preliminary budget.

"For the Child In You"
Florida Lemon Bars
Double chocolate brownies
White chocolate chip cookies with Macadamia Nuts
Oatmeal raisin cookies
Chewy rice crispy treats
Chocolate marshmallow squares
Coffee (also decaf)
Hot tea
Lemonade

*We substituted the lemon bars and rice crispy treats for the Mr. & Mrs. Strawberries, and they charged us $1.50 more pp* We paid $19 pp, but the stawberries were a hit!

hi katie,

check out http://www.yourfairytale.com/caterill.html and http://www.yourfairytale.com/catereh.html#Walt Disney World Resort Events
there is a list of the epcot locations & minimums and some sample menus for wedding events, the uk lower, french arm or italy isola west wing would probably be the best for your size group. there is a menu minimum of $17.50pp, a fee if $12.50pp to view illuminations if your guests dont have park tickets for that day, $90 hostess fee and $75 for table set up.

we are having our illuminations dessert party after our reception at the french island upper for 56 guests, our estimate is $1988.

For a party that size, including wristbands, I believe we spent about $900. We had several types of petite desserts, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. This was the UK terrace - before the split it to upper and lower.

For a party for about 20 people, no wristbands, we did several types of petite desserts, a fresh fruit plate, same drinks and spent about $450. That was through group dining as it was not for a wedding event, just a family reunion party.

We are having a dessert party, too. Disney is very accommodating. They said we could do hors d'oeuvres instead if we wanted. I also asked if we could have alcohol -- thinking they'd never allow that -- and they said that's okay, too. I don't have the costs on the alcohol yet, but the costs the other brides listed for the dessert party are what they quoted me, too.

Those of you asking about the Dessert Party...are you having this after a "normal" reception? I'm still slightly confused about the whole thing (really not difficult for me...). In All you have to spend 100$ pp for food and bev for your "day"...right? Does the viewing fee pp for Illuminations count towards this??

The food and beverage from the Illuminations dessert party counts toward the overall $100 pp food and beverage minimum for the day. The viewing fees do not count toward the food and beverage minimum, but they do count toward the overall wedding minimum. Illuminations dessert parties are typically done in addition to regular receptions or as welcome parties. :)
