Hi! I see that for $25 more, I can get a "Celebrations" cruise with decorations. Does anyone know what kind of decorations these are? (Is it worth the extra $25)? Also, I'm thinking about ordering a cake to be delivered. Do I have to order the cake from where I'll be leaving (Poly) or isn't there a WDW "cake place" that I can order from? Thanks for your help.

Usually about 10-12 appropriate balloons (Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Congratulations), and a banner. May not sound "worth it" but it attracts a lot of attention and you will feel a little more special on the boat.

As far as cake or any other additional items you want, you should call the Private Dining at the location from your boats departure (your case the Poly). Tell them your on a Specialty Cruise, give them your confirmation number and confirm the departure time. Then call at least 24 hours before and reconfirm everything. Funny story, about two weeks ago, I was at Bayside Marina waiting for an IllumiNations Cruise, when private dining from the Yacht Club came out with two carts full of food, the cruise driver's were confused, told them they weren't expecting any food, much less enough to feed 13 ppl! They checked the CRO system, and the order was for a Specialty Cruise on the Grand One at the Grand Floridian. Talk about your mix-ups!

A total of 6 happy family members are looking for a last minute opening for an Illuminations on 8/19, 8/20,8/22, or 8/23. Depending on space, a minimum of three of us could join you (Mom plus 2 well behaved DD).

Just FYI- I was able this morning to book the Breathless II Illuminations Cruise for next month. The CM said it had only been in the system for a couple of days, so a lot of people didn't know it was available yet.

Thanks for the information on the breathless II. I called earlier today for an Illum cruise and was told no for my date of Oct 31 2007. I just called back and asked for the breathless II and was able to book it for the cruise. Yeah Thanks dis board

It is 12;43 cst thursday just got off the phone there is an opeing for wishes cruise 8 people pontoon,leaving from the Grand Floridian price 275.00. The date of the cruise opening is Sept 18,07.

DIS Board is the greatest! We just booked an illumination cruise only 2 weeks away on the Breathless 2 after about 15 attempts - after reading about the Breathless 2 availability.

If you have not found any availability for your dates, call and ask about the Breathless 2--- Disney just started taking reservations less than a week ago so chances are it may be available for you!

I just booked an Illuminations Breathless II cruise for Tues. Aug. 28 to celebrate my birthday!

The cm I spoke to said I was the first person she had ever booked one for as hardly anyone is calling for them as few people know the ressies are open yet.

This will be a surprise for my family, so I can't wait to see the looks on their faces.

Well, for no one knowing about the Breathless II being available for booking, someone sure knew to book it on the day I needed it.

That means DH and I are still looking to share an Illuminations Cruise on Friday, October 12th. It's our 5th Anniversary. Please? We're very friendly central Pennsylvania folk.
