Yes, you can take your own camera, however it MUST have a strap so you can keep it around your neck. If you don't want it around your neck, you must have a strap so it can be tied to the vest they provide you.

Have done WAT and a Wishes cruise - enjoyed the cruise but would do the Trek again before another cruise.

What would be the earliest time to do the WAT when AK is open early for extra magic hours?

I believe they start at 8am, and run every 45 minutes until just after lunch.

Another +1 for the trek here... DW and I did it in December and LOVED it. While it is a little pricy, it was definately worth it.
