Let me just start out by saying that getting up before 7am just to make reservations is crazy, but I did it. There were two of us calling, but we were unable to book a pontoon book for the Illuminations Cruise on May 12. We were however, able to book the Breathless for the Illuminations Cruise. While my fiance did that, I booked a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise. Obviously, we have to cancel one of those reservatilons, but which one? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Well, I assume they are not the same cost, but it to me it's a no-brainer. Breathless!!
You not only get a thrilling cruise along the waterway from the Studios to Epcot, you get a special viewing of IllumiNations!

Yup. Go with Illuminations. We have done the Illunimation cruise twice and it is the best!

If I chose to do the Illuminations Cruise on the Breathless, will six adults be comfortable?

Yes, but remember you will all be facing forward and the engine (enclosed) is between the 2nd and 3rd row of seats, so you will be about 4 feet apart from each other.

BUT, being able to secure a Breathless IllumiNations Cruise is much more difficult that any other.

I've never done the breathless just Pontoon..but I love the illuminations cruise....we try to do it once every trip....

I had hoped to wear my wedding dress during out cruise, but it looks like the Breathless would be too small for that. Does anyone have pictures other than the one posted above? Do you think it would be too tight a sqeeze?

Also, my mother is very concerned that we may not see Illuminations. I told her that I had never heard of someone not seeing Illuminations. Has anyone ever had a problem with this? I was told it was only cancelled for inclement weather. We'll be there mid-May, and I have heard the weather is mild.

Thanks in advance,

Have done Illuminations 3 times; and last week did the Wishes cruise. Before last week, if you had asked, I would have said the Illuminations cruise couldn't be beat. The Illuminations boat cruises in the waterway that runs between MGM and Epcot, so its a fairly limited area; then you tie up just beyond the bridge that connects the United Kingdom and France and get a good view of the fireworks.
We have ridden in the Breathless; if there are six people, someone is going to be cramped.
Wishes is probably the best choreographed fireworks display we have seen and we thought it was great from Main Street. From the boat on Seven Seas Lagoon it was even better. And the surroundings add to the ambiance...lights from the resorts, the monorail going by, etc. etc. etc. After the fireworks, we cruised over to Bay Lake and were given a narrated tour. There is so much more to see on the Wishes cruise and I think that best describes why we prefer it...
..that being said, both would be good but we think you would like Wishes better. And, based on our experience, I think the Breathless would be uncomfortable for six...good luck:smooth:
