I know there have been lots of threads about booking fireworks cruises, but I thought I would share my experience this morning to try and help everyone else in their quest.
I started calling around 3 minutes before 7:00. I would hang up as soon as I heard the "we're not open" and immediately hit redial so the time between my calls was no more than 15-20 seconds. Promptly at 7:00 I heard a different message start. I started punching all the numbers to get you through the menu system. I didn't wait for the message to play out, I had called a couple weeks ago and wrote down all the #'s so I just punched them in. The whole thing had to take less than one minute until I'm talking to a CM. I blurt out I want the Breathless for the Illuminations cruise on June 18, and lo and behold, we get it. The CM then informs me that I was lucky as I got the last boat available for June 18. Truly amazing that all those boats could be had before I could get through.
It still stuns me that there are all of us fools that go through this exercise to pay too much for a short boat ride and a chance to sit where fireworks smoke can blow in your face, but we do. And we love it. This will be our 4th Breathless Cruise and we can't wait!
