Illuminations Cruise on Platinum package

I know these boats are hard to come by. On the Platinum package it includes a fireworks specialty cruise and pre-arrival planning. So since it's already included in the plan do I still have to call and get it? Has anyone gone on this plan? WHat does the pre-arrival planning consist of?

You do not call WDW-PLAY like everybody else. But you have to "reserve" you date and # of ppl. You will be put on a pontoon boat, possibly with other Platinum Plan guests with a total of 10ppl maximum on the boat.
There is one pontoon boat each night set aside for the Platinum Plan for IllumiNations and it could have 1 person on it or 10.
I am not sure how you reserve you seat, I would call and ask, I assume it would have to do with your "pre-arrival planning."
