I will be cancelling an Illuminations Cruise for Wed, Nov 23rd. This is on the Breathless. I will be doing this early next week (Mon/Tues morning). Just a heads up if anyone wants to coordinate calls to WDW to grab the cruise once it's cancelled. jeankeri

This just in.......

Breathless, the 1930's Chris-Craft Replica Boat out of Bayside Marina at the Yacht Club, is currently in rehab. This is an unscheduled repair to fix/replace the transmission. It was taken to the dry-dock area yesterday (10/31) and should be unavailable for the next 2 weeks.
Meanwhile a 6th Pontoon Boat will be available for the IllumiNations Fireworks Specialty Cruise, but it will most likely NOT be in the WDW-PLAY, CRO system. If you want to book this pontoon, go directly to Bayside Marina between 10am and 5pm.

More info when it becomes available.

Meet at Bayside Marina just outside of The Yacht Club, just to the right of the lighthouse dock. Tell them to be there by 8pm, and no later than 8:15pm
Also, tell them that if they are not there by 8:30, that you will instruct the driver to leave without them. Also, get cell phone numbers from every party.

We have been on an Illuminations cruise before so we understand the importance of being on time and showing up at the right location! We would be most appreciative!

I know this is late, but we are going to GKTW nov 16-22 for my 17 YO son's Wish trip, we would love to join anyone that has a ressie any night but the 16&17th there are 4 of us 2 parents and 2 17YOBs , we have never done a cruise and think it would be really special thank you Lyn

I spoke to Chad last night after I saw him driving Breathless around Crescent Lake.
He said that the boat is back, but will not be booked until Saturday. Yes, they did more than just the transmission, they put in a new motor, that is why he was driving it around, they need some hours on the motor to help break it in.
So, look for Breathless tooling around between 6pm and 8pm the next few nights.
I did not get any specifics on the new motor, but Chad said that it revs higher and the throttle is more sensitive. He said it is smoother.

Let me rephrase this. When you call Disney to book a specialty cruise, do you tell the operator which boat, ie pontoon, breathless etc. you want or do you get whatever is available? I would like to get breathless but I dont want to limit myself by asking for a specific boat.

Just found this site and learned about the Illuminations cruises. Sounds absolutely fabulous. Wish I had known about it before. We are four and will be down from Nov 26th to Dec 2.

YES, Breathless is specifically a separate entry into the CRO system.
