IllumiNations after Akershus?

We have a 7:55 PM ADR for Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. How likely is it that we'll finish in time to see some part of IllumiNations? And if so, how difficult would it be to see it from that location (in terms of finding a good vantage point, etc).

My guess is that we'll be done too late to catch it, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

When is IllumiNations on the night you are going? IllumiNations is usually presented at 9:00 pm, but during busy holiday season, it can be presented as late as 10:30 pm. If you're going in January, then it goes back to being presented nightly at 9:00 pm. In that case, I do think you won't finish up your meal in time to see the show. I'd allow about 75 minutes for dinner at Akershus, especially because there are characters and it's a three course meal. If you do get out in time, I would probably opt to watch from somewhere near Norway or Mexico. There are lots of good viewing area, but I doubt you'd get a rail spot at that point. There is an island in front of China and the African Outpost that gets in the way, so I wouldn't head that direction to watch the show.

IllumiNations is at 9:00 PM the day we're going to Epcot.

That's what I generally figured - that we'd miss it, if only by 30-45 minutes. I guess I'll keep an eye out for a slightly earlier ADR, just in case we can do both!
