Illumanations cruise Dec?????

I have been a lurker on these boards for quite awhile. I am just confused by everything that is going on lately. First I get ready to make my December reservations. (We go pretty much every year the 1st or 2nd week) Well the codes came out durning the week and I waited until Saturday to call--all the deluxe codes pretty much gone--except for the suites. What?? We really wanted to stay at the WL or CR--prefer the tower. Last year I called the 1st week of November and had not problem getting a code. Well this morning I called to try and get an Illuminations cruise on Saturday the 11th and they boats will be in rehab until the 12th!!!!!!! I even called back to make sure. Normally I do not even do this much planning but my MIL and FIL are coming again this year and she made a comment about she would like to stay at CR so when I could not get that I thought of the Ill. cruise but now I can not get that either!! Is the entire world going to be there in December??? Sorry so long I just wanted to make sure everyone got the same answer I did.

I'm sorry that you couldn't book a cruise. I couldn't get one either and I was told that the Breathless is in rehab as well. Not sure about the pontoon boats. Keep trying though! Maybe you can get a cancellation on one of the MK cruises!

I just got the bad news about the Illuminations cruise myself. We're scheduled to be at the YC from 12/10-12/13. It's always unfortunate when a rehab occurs during your stay. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are able to work ahead of schedule and something opens up. Luckily for me, it was going to be a surprise for my family and I hadn't mentioned anything to them yet.
