Illness survey

Hi posters,

I am curious to know if the sickness that's floating around our church/local schools is just an isolated case or if you all are experiencing similar illness in your circles (home/church/etc).

Symtoms:
For most its been vomiting, like a 24 hour sickness
for some its from the other end
For a minority, both.

So, what are your thoughts? I've had 2 of my 4 kids sick this week and now Daddy is ill w/it too .

No, but I have had a head/chest cold on and off for the MONTH. I thought I was getting better, and now today my throat is scratchy again. I REALLY want to go to the gym tomorrow morning too... gotta fit into my Christmas dress for the 3 parties!!!!

My daughter and I are both sick. Her first, fever since Thursday (without Tylenol or Motrin), threw up Thursday night, loose stools, green stuff coming out of eyes and nose, just miserable.

Yesterday, I slept a good portion of the day, was freezing (had a fever) and achy all over. Today I am still achy and don't really feel well, but no fever.

DH has been well, so far so good.

DH came home Sat. from a California business trip with it. He was vomiting all Fri. night and nauseated last night. Today it was the diarrhea. He seemed to be doing better by Sun. evening but his stomach muscles hurt. The heating pad helped with that pretty well, he said.

He was convinced he had Swine Flu but I assured him he would have been much sicker if that was the case.

We don't have that now (currently 3 colds, one with a sinus infection), but we've had the 24 hour stomach bug MANY times here (and don't mind it - it's the 10 day rotavirus we fear and hate).
