IKEA Sale Anyone?

Has anyone hit the "once a year" IKEA sale yet? It looks like it started Friday and goes for 2 weeks. I know they rarely have sales, and it says on select items, so I'm wondering if its worth a trip.

I used to hit their post Christmas sale every year, since we had three with 90 minutes.

There's no Ikea in Florida until 2007! I need more Billy bookshelves, and I'm tempted to road trip to Atlanta for some!

I was so excited to here and IKEA is coming!

I loved having the one in Plymouth Meeting so close to me in PA, and when I moved to DC there was one in Woodbridge! My entire first apartment in 1985 was furnished from IKEA! I moved from Pa to VA with one little U-Haul trailer!!!

Woodbridge got expanded about 18 months before we moved, then they opened one in College Park. This was on top of the one in White Marsh. We were in heaven!

Although there was the time that we needed the second Billy bookcase(DVD storage-we need the third now), that we went to woodbridge, they were out, so we went to College Park, they were out and then we got to White Marsh. They had the right color, but not the extra shelf!

The Orlando location is good-Mall at Millenia! Wanna make plans now to wait in the crazy grand opening line?
