Ii Trade Question - Need Help Asap

We are currently DVC members, Worldmark members and HGVC members.

We were thinking of going to Disneyworld for free dining this year but decided to throw a request in through II using our WorldMark points for a 2 bedroom at either BCV or Boardwalk. We were just confirmed at Boardwalk in a 2 bedroom this afternoon. We have a couple of questions:

1)Is there a way to confirm if the unit is prefered or not prior to arrival?

2)Since we are DVC owners is there any way fo getting out of the $95 resort fee?

3)Assuming we are standard view is it possible to upgrade via points or cash to a prefered view?

I doubt if its a perferred view room. I also doubt you will be able to upgrade from standard view to preferred view. Eventhough you are a member, you will still have to pay the $95 fee.

Members still have to pay the fee, believe me, I've asked. It will almost certainly be a standard view and now way to upgrade. What you can do is put a request on the reservation and at check in is explain you are a member and would prefer a pool/garden view if possibly. MS should be able to tell you the type of room that was deposited with II though they won't guarantee that's the type you'll get.

1)Is there a way to confirm if the unit is prefered or not prior to arrival? Yes, simply phone Member Services and ask. You'll need the Disney Reservation number found on your II confirmation paperwork.

3)Assuming we are standard view is it possible to upgrade via points or cash to a prefered view? No, but my exchanges have always been preferred view (not standard). One was a BW view the others pool/garden view.
