II Hotel Exchanges

Hi. I was looking around on the exchange options on II. I see the option for hotel exchanges. Does anyone know if the points allotment for a stay is per night or for the entire stay?

From what I explored there are two options. One for night by night and one for week long commitments. At least when I searched for an exchange a while back, I had that option.

I am pretty sure it is for the entire stay. That said, these options are rarely a good utilization of DVC points. YOu would be far better to rent your points and take the cash to book the hotel yourself direct with the hotel company. NOt only is it likely much cheaper, but you have more flexibility in cancellations, changes and even what hotels you can reserve.
