Can anyone clarify that 150 pt minimum is needed to exchange into Interval International? What other options are available than II to stay outside of WDW? I understand the cruise line is an option?

We're thinking of an initial contract of ~100 pts resale. Can I bank those points for a year, then use 150 of the 200 banked points to transfer to II or WDW cruise line or partner resort?

Thanks!!

Depending on what type of accommodations you want and when you would stay, the minimum exchange "cost" is 106 points for a Studio during "Low" season at the resort you choose. In reality, there are few studios at other timeshares and many do not really offer a "Low" season, so more points would be required. You can certainly use banked points for a World Passport exchange. If you are primarily considering using your DVC membership to trade thru the World Passport Collection, there may be less costly ways to enjoy such exchanges. If you will primarily use your DVC points at DVC resorts and on occasion trade to other resorts, then DVC might work. Just be sure to really do the "math" based on how you intend to travel.

Here is the point chart for World Passport Exchanges:

..........LOW. MID. HIGH
Studio. 106 . 123 . 134
1 BR ... 124 . 144 . 160
2 BR ... 207 . 252 . 270
3 BR ... 276 . 317 . 349
