II Exchange - I got it!!!

I had posted before that I made a request for a week in Maine and it didn't come through yet - it had been almost one month. I was thinking about extending the search into NH. In todays mail I found my reservation!! We got the property I really wanted. I got so excited when I saw it, I didn't look at the property and then realized I wasn't sure where we were going. Then I realized I wasn't sure when we were going. I requested 3 properties for either July or August. I can't wait. I just love vacations!!! And the best part, we requested a one bedroom - there are only 3 of us - that and we only have 160 points. They gave us a 2 bedroom!!!! Life is good!!!

How long after did you trade come through since you put in your request?

Boy, that makes life so much easier...For those waiting to book airline,
getting a fast trade means that you can book airline quicker!

You said you "requested a 1 BR" and were planning on using 160 points.
Does the confirmation say that you were confirmed in a 2 BR? That is a double bonus!

I put in the request Aug. 19th and got it confirmed Sept. 10th. And yes, we requested a one bedroom and got a two bedroom for the same 160 points!!! I was really concerned about not hearing anything. We are taking a family trip in Nov. and my DH and I are going in Jan. We weren't sure whether or not to buy our DS an annual pass or not. If we didn't get the property, we would go back to WDW. But now we can save some money and only buy him a 7 PH. I love saving money - now I have some Disney spending money!!!

We got Rangeley Lake Resort and can't wait!!! It's right on the lake. It looks awesome you get your own log cabin. And hopefully we will see moose and lots of them!!!! I'll give you my thoughts when we come home next year.

Congrats!! I put a II request for Marriot (maui) and Westin (maui) for next June 7th for a week for my sister and her future DH to use for their honeymoon (yesterday I put it in) so here's HOPING!!!

Keep us posted. It is encouraging to us when trades work out. Someday we plan to trade out. We're just not there yet.

Congratulations! Our only moose sighting in Maine was when we were on our way to Sunday River for Skiing. DH didn't want to stop, but we all made him...he thought we would see many more, but we never did. So, I hope you get many sightings of the awesome, huge creatures!!!
