IGT dining question

If you cancel your reservation and rebook as IGT to get lower rate, are you automatically assigned the 2nd dining time? Current reservation has 1st seating, so wasn’t sure if we would lose that.

You probably would. Second seating is the default for reservations. You can try to change in once the reservation is made, or get on the waiting list.

Correct you would lose it because it’s be considered a new booking. You’d have to get back on the waitlist and you’d be behind everyone already on it.
