Hi, everybody! What happened over the weekend? We epoxied and painted our garage floor. It was HOT!

Dull weekend. I'm always at a loss as to how to spend my time if I don't go into the office. I finished my China scrapbook, glad to be able to clean up the mess.

Andy, my little boy dog, was sick all day yesterday. I cleaned up vomit piles all day long. He seems himself this morning. I'll check him out at lunch to make sure he doesn't need to make a vet run. He's a sensitive little guy and is sick a lot.

Watched the link, Snap. Not really my cup of tea, buy I like his enthusiasm. If you're going to do something, do it all the way. His costume led to lots of questions from the kids.


On another note, I should really ignore what's lurking under the couch cushions.

Big break, huh? But, the baby will be coming then, and with all the holidays and several birthdays, I doubt there will be much time for school. We have to be at our half way point in November. I think we can do it.

All is well. I'm having at least one good contraction a day. As long as they don't get regular, I'm not worrying about it, but I don't enjoy it. The baby does not care for sodas. I can't stand the taste of any of them. She's getting huge and moving around a lot. Thankfully, no interest in animals of any kind. The dog, however, seems to think he needs to jump in my lap everytime he sees me. There won't be much lap left soon.

Yup! Think about it. My baby is due at the beginning of Dec. My last one came 3 weeks early, if this one follows suit, it could be a November birthday. We would be taking off a few weeks for the baby. Then you have Christmas madness and a birthday Dec 23 and Dec 29. Then New Years. All with a newborn. My last newborn in winter had months of sickness. We're hoping to avoid that this time around, but I'm sure our schedules will revolve around the baby, and doctor's appts, and whatever else comes up. I actually know quite a few homeschoolers who take off that long for a winter break. The kids will still have stuff to do. They'll still have to read and probably have practice math sheets, but no new info. That's why we go back to school earlier in the summer, so we can have a long break around the holidays.
