I'd love to be where you are. I love hot weather. Don't like the humidity much, but would gladly take hazy, hot and humid over dank, rainy and blah any day. And don't get me started on winter.

My husband went outside to see what the dogs were barking at. He came back in and told the kids there would be no Easter next year because the dogs pulled the back legs off the Easter bunny. My children, being who they are, did not cry. They began a debate on what the Easter bunny looks like to decide if it was really him or not. DH said, "I'm older than ya'll, I know what the Easter bunny looks like." 5 yr old H then said, "Was he wearing a shirt? The Easter bunny wears a shirt." Then, if it was white or not. It kept going. Finally, they wanted to go to the trash can (trash is picked up in the morning) to see what it looked like. Once it was established that I was not going to let them go to the curb in pajamas at night to look in a trash can, they began a debate about which dog did the deed. I truly hope all rabbits stay out of our yard from now on.

AlphaMom, I have to say, I think you've got quite the crew of CSI agents on your hands there. Very calm under a stressful situation and a curious bunch. Not that I'd want to see the remains.

Morning all. It's too early to be talking about so much meat. So far it's pork, beef and rabbit and it's not even 8am here. I'd rather discuss dark chocolate m&m's.

Snap, the move is 90% done. The other 10% is all the carp nobody wants to deal with, all of it falls under my responsibility. The most important thing left (IMO) is the covered parking for me, the other VP and the Pres. With temps of 111, who wants to park out in the sun? Giving up my covered parking was the biggest reason I hadn't wanted to move in the first place.

PK, when it gets this hot here, the smog gets really bad. I'm talking that when I leave my house and get into my car, I'm crying within 2 blocks of driving because my eyes are burning so badly. But it's only going to be 107 today; I'm sure the air quality will be sooo much better.
