IG vs main entrance

Since you plan to Uber no matter what (which is my prefered way to get around), Uber to Boardwalk or BC and go through IG. Less crowded

They'd have to get dropped off at one of the four Epcot resorts and make the walk from there. If that is the case. coming in the Main Gate is less walking.
Not sure that they could get dropped off at an EPCOT resort. If they are not staying there, or eating there, depending on the day, you may or may not be able to get past the gate.

Not sure if this was addressed in a more recent post so I'm resurrecting this one...

We are planning to do the character breakfast at Topolino's and then take the Skyliner over to Epcot and ride Frozen first. Can you walk clockwise (UK - Canada - Mexico - Norway) from IG or do you have to walk all the way around the long way? We were planning arrive at IG around 11 to take advantage of shorter wait times for Frozen before an anticipated 12 noon opening. Would someone who has visited recently tell me if this is possible or suggest another strategy? If it helps, we will be there the first part of December (5-12). Usually crowds are low during this time but not sure what to expect this year. Many thanks!

Once Epcot opens at 11 you can walk either way. FWIW, there's little difference in distance between Frozen and IG going either direction.

Friendship boats are not running at this time so you would need to include the walk from the resort.

Since the entire park will be open at 11, you can go either way.

Before, when the gate opened at 9 but most of World Showcase didn't open until 11, you HAD to walk clockwise. I'm not sure why they might force you to go the other way?

But the two directions are about the same distance to Norway anyway. It's straight across the lagoon from the IG.

They are taking the Skyliner from Riviera. The Skyliner Station is right beside the International Gateway.

The first page of this thread is from 2018. It would be less confusing if the recent poster started a new thread so people could comment on the current situation for Disney rides/transportation relevant to covid.

I was commenting on the original post. I did not realize it was from 2018 or that a new post had started within the original.
