? if you've traveled to Mexico (Cancun)

DD (17) is going to Cancun for 5 days, with a friend and the friend's mom. I'm wondering how to deal with telephone calls from her back to me. Through a little web-searching I found something called a "TelMex" pre-paid calling card that seems to have the best rates. Apparently this is a major phone service carrier in Mexico. The rates on their pre-paid card are better than those on an MCI or ATT prepaid card purchased here in the US.
Has anyone had any experience with these cards.. or any tips for calling from Mexico to US at a reasonable rate?

I didn't use a prepaid calling card when I was in Cancun. I used the hotel phone and payed through the nose. Those TelMex cards are sold everywhere there. I think it would be your best bet.

We bought a card before leaving the states. It could be used domestically or internationally. It did use more minutes for calling from Mexico hence it cost more per call. I did see plenty of the TelMex cards for sale around Cancun.
