My health class is a 23 day class, 45 minutes long, and I have more work than any of my 90 day, 90 minute classes do.
I have to write 2 papers on birth control, each 4 pages long. Then I have 2 papers on STDs or STIs, each 5 pages long. Lastly, what is supposed to be a group project, create a board game that involve male and female 'parts'.

Is this normal for a gym class in high school? I know it's sex ed, but it seems to me like that's alot of work for so little time. I'm just a little confused here?

Also, can somebody please tell me how questions with STRONG religious undertones involve health class? We have an ATB packet, and almost all of the questions have something religious in them.
'If you could wear one outfit to enter Paradise in, what would it be?'
'If you could have someone famous at your funeral, who would it be?'
If you could have someone famous read you eulogy, who would it be?'
'What foods woulf be in your last supper?'
'What would you like written on your epitaph?'

My health class this year was pretty much a bird course.
Seriously, we did no work.
My teacher would talk for hours on end.
And we never had homework for the Sex ed part.
Those papers sound ridiculously long for a health class.

And they should not be asking religious questions in health class. Schools should leave it out of their courses UNLESS the course is actually focused on religion (or the school happens to be a religious one).

That's what I thought. My English course didn't even have papers that long.
And the teachers were told if it HAS to be a group project, leave it out. Well it says right on the board game rubric, it's to be a group paper.

Oh, and this is public school. That's why I was asking about the religion.

ehh, my health class was actually pretty hard too lol... we had some extreme anatomy tests.. and yea, we had a lot of papers to write too.. so that sounds about right to me...

however, we never had any religious stuff in it at all.. it was strictly biology and anatomy type stuff

We had watered down health in fifth and six grade, and then we have it again junior year.
All of the juniors say there's insane amounts of projects and papers, so that sounds about right.

And I think that Paradise question was kinda crossing the line.
The rest of them probably weren't intended to be religious, but that one is pretty blatant.
