It's always good to have whatever credentials you may need if you use a code. I frequently use Continental's code for National and always make sure I have my Continental FF card with me, just in case.

Good reminder - I always make sure I qualify for any type of discount. I'm too much of a chicken. In fact, I am going to make sure to take my AAdvantage card for the current Alamo coupon discount - just in case.
