how should you go about getting them? I was thinking a book, but when I went to CKU, I made tags and had each of the celebs sign them. That way I can stick them on the appropriate page. Would this be a good idea for character autographs? :confused3

The last time my family went to WDW, my daughter (11) took a small clipboard and a pack of matting cards. Worked great for her. My son (9) just took his scrapbook w/him & we added pages in between to put the pictures on when we returned home.

Have fun!

That works really well for face characters but I would advise using something a little more bigger/sturdy for the fur characters as they have a harder time writing and seeing.

The clip board idea would work for sturdy but Id do atlease a 3x5 card for the signature :)

Last summer I got three CM disney books for my kids to get autographs in. We then added pages and put pictures on them when I got home.

Here are some of the pages I did for my son's album, I still have more to scan: Autograph Book They are very basic, but my 3-yr old loves to look at his book. ::MickeyMo

I think that next year I am going to use 4x6 cardstock. Much easier to carry and scrap. Thanks for the idea.

Here's what I did with some autographs: Autograph Tags

I just brought along 3x4 (I think!) pieces of cardstock and had the characters sign them, I placed them on the tags and chalked them when I got home!!

The fur handed characters didn't have trouble signing on cardstock as long as it was attached to the clipboard IMHO.

Have fun!

I've actually done a few different things. The first few times we went we always used the regular autograph books. I've since copied the autographs onto good paper and used them and even tore pages out, and matted them another time. Our last trip we took the 7 x7 CM Disney album and got autographs directly on the pages and we then added, or um, are in the process of adding the pages in between as we scrap them.

I don't know how I missed these on Two Peas :earseek: I love them!!!

On my last couple of trips I've used the 6x8 books from Michaels. We would get the autographs on the right side of the page and scrapped the picture on the left side. So far its worked out really well but depending on what you carry into the parks the book can be a little large. I carry a small backpack from Vera Bradley and it fits in there just fine.

I used scrapbook papers with a temporary mounting on a spiral cardstock. It worked great, I used papers with characters and some die cuts and then just put them into the page with the pictures.
