I've just picked up a voucher in Virgin which says that if you book by phone and quote reference MEGA1 they will send you a £50 gift card (once you send in the voucher).

Not much use to me, as I booked on-line yesterday, and I suspect that most of you use the Interweb (world-wide-net) to book but you might want to throw this information towards some technophobe friends of yours - whilst casually mentioning that CD you've ALWAYS wanted!

Thanks Grumpy, will have a look:thumbsup2

Why are they encouraging / rewarding phone bookings as opposed to online bookings?

Thas the opposite of insurance companies etc.

If you book online you get a 5% online booking discount. If you book by phone you get no discount unless you're a FVC member. So if you're spending over £1000 on your booking it pays to book online still.
