Good idea. The deluxe plan is perfect for my son and I.

What will really tell is how many dining plans and packages are sold.
I think the deluxe plan is a heck of a deal, as long as anyone buying it would get the use out of it. I think the deluxe plan is more along the lines that Disney should have done in the first place.

I dont completely understand the deluxe plan-is there a difference between CS and TS credits or are they all the same?

Disney Dining Plan
For each night of your package, each Guest in your party enjoys:
3 meals
Choose from select Walt Disney World Resort table-service and quick-service restaurants for all 3 of your meals.

1 adult table-service meal includes 1 appetizer, 1 entrée and 1 dessert (lunch or dinner only), 1 juice (breakfast only) and 1 single serving non-alcoholic beverage, or 1 full buffet.

What will really tell is how many dining plans and packages are sold.

And even more important -- how many rooms go vacant which were previously rented at rack rate. Disney doesn't really care about letters. They care about money.

To be honest this change was probably brought on by the waitstaff not happy with the dining plan. The DDP hurt their tips. Their tips were based on teh discounted amount of the meal not the bill total that you see.
