I am sure you are happy car shopping is finished. I love my car and luckily I think I will have it for several more years, I only have about 50,000 miles on it. New car shopping not one of my favorite things. Your cars look great I like the paint detailing that Tom plans to add, sure does add some pizazz. Your meal looked lovely.

We were both pretty happy we got what we wanted and we got a fair price on both cars!
I am very excited about the trim he came up with too!

I think that means I have the day to myself until 4pm when go to my second job !!!Which is often a Private Dis Meet !!It is sooooo fun having a Disney Addict as a BOSS!!!

I hope you are going to have a wonderful and fun Easter Weekend at the beach! How wonderful! I hope you tell us all about it!

We are staying home for Easter. Tom had to work this morning and I really want him to relax for the next two and a half days (Monday is a holiday here too). No wonderful restaurants planned either. Tom is a heavenly cook and I am going to enjoy his food - I hate going out on holidays, restaurants are so crowded and they really try to hurry you! No thanks!

Tom goes back to work on Tuesday and I'll need to go back on Wednesday. Not that I am overly excited about it, but at least it will be one step closer to our summer vacation.

Eastermonday is a holiday here, everything is closed, so it is still a very peaceful time. Tom needs to go back to work tomorrow and I still have tomorrow off and am back to work on Wednesday.
But I have not been lazy, I did type out a lot of my trip reports. Need to do that in word first, so I don't lose my update when I hit the wrong button!

FINALLY

there are some news to report ..........


We got our new cars yesterday!

I need Tom to get some photos, but wanted to share the excitement with you all right now!

We had an appointment to have insurance transferred to the new cars (the car is insured, not the driver) and then we had a very long "briefing" on how to operate the cars. There are SO many technical things that it DOES require a briefing!

For our two cars it took about two hours to get everything worked out and then we were on our way to the next gas station where we filled them both up - came to 240$ (and yes, a litre of gas is 2,11$ here - there are 3.8 litres in a gallon, so a gallon would be 8$!!)

Both cars still smell very new and are fun to drive!

So, with that out of the way, we can now move on to vacation planning, which will continue very shortly!

I hope you all enjoyed the Royal Wedding, which took place in London last weekend. And while I really think that Buckingham Palace is a lovely place, Tom came up with a familiar, yet FAR more romantic and magical backdrop for their first kiss!

Congratulations on getting the cars! Gas is 1.68 euro per litre here, for the 'plain' version, not the high octane stuff. ouch! Thankfully I basically only need mine to drive to the train station and back, that is, when we don't have strikes.

I can't wait for pictures! I bet you two look so cute in your matching cars!
