we are leaning towards choosing DL, as we are goign to WDW the first week of Feb.

Congrats! The Grand Californian would be my choice hands down! Closest to the parks, best theming (imo), and only resort built by Disney from the ground up. Enjoy!

I suppose it would depends where you live .... I would choose WDW since i'm relatively local to DL but as far as resorts at DL goes ... GCH for sure.

Congratulations!!

The Grand Californian is amazing, it's beautiful and calm and really close to the parks! However, some feel that it just isn't "Disney" enough! I've stayed at the Grand Californian a few times now, and it's pretty similar to the Wilderness Lodge (which is the only resort at WDW that we stayed at on our one lonely trip. )

Disneyland Hotel just went through a pretty extensive overhaul. It looks simply amazing and you won't get much more DISNEY than it.

So I think it's a matter of personal preference. I know DL is a lot different than WDW, and I'm excited that you get to do both in the same year!

We live in SC - so we have been to wdw 6 times ...

plus we are going Feb 3-12th

Soooo that's kinda why we are leaning towards DL...

Woohoo! Congrats! I had to go read what the whole package is you won--OMG! It is amazing! And it reminded me to enter for today too!

I would do DL too, just because for us FL is sooo far away, that the 4 nights 5 days would be mostly wasted traveling. And I would pick GCH hands down! The nicest and most $$ of all the hotels. You are going to have such as awesome time!

Congrats!!! If I won it, probably the Grand, but I do love PPH for the CA view and would love to check out the remodeled DLH. Wow, that's really no help at all, is it??

If I won, I just might go to WDW, since we've never been, but it intimidates me so much, I might stick with DL.

And if I were in your shoes, I would also choose Disneyland. But since I live near Disneyland and have only been to WDW once, you know what I would choose. Enjoy your vacation! Oh wow! Congratulations!! If I chose DL (which I prob would chose due to distance as someone else also mentioned?) I would probably chose the Disneyland Hotel due to the recent renovations & how Disney it is. Although I have always wanted to stay at the GC......tough one!!

I would think you could choose any of them. If you get to choose any at DL should be the same at WDW.

Congrats!! I'd probably go with WDW (gasp!) since I haven't been since the mid 90's
