What would you do with it? Let's say 350 million.

I would build a home with heated floors in the bathroom and bedroom. Then I'd buy a Maserati!

I'd invest some and put some away for the kids, purchase a reasonable priced new house, quit work, help my parents and my husband parents, and then travel some. :thumbsup2

I would buy homes for some family members and pay for their childrens college.

First pay taxes lol
give to my church
pay of my debts
buy a mansions for all my family and friends
pay off my family and friends debts
buy new cars

I'd buy a kickin' RV and take my kids, dog and cat and my best friend and her kids, dog and cat on a never ending vacation!!! Tour the Americas! woohoo!

1) pay off my church's debt
2) start a fund for women who need IVF and the like but can't afford it
3) pay off my kids tuition through high school
4) pay off my house and build that expansion that I want!
5) a nice trip every 6 weeks or so!
6) help those in my circle that need help
7) invest

Pay off bills, pay off the bills for family members that I like, buy a vacation home somewhere....nothing necessarily ostentatious but just a cute little place on the water. Give lots to some of my favorite charities, give to my church, invest the rest so I always had money so I could keep giving to charities and helping people.

oooh....and this too! One of my dreams!!

I would also buy a Golden Acres home :goodvibes
I would would pay off DD caregivers debts. She is so amazing.
Then I would stop working LOL! Hire a chef, housekeeper, and personal trainer.

First thing I'd do is call out "rich" from work.

Buy houses......for us, both kids
cars for the 5 of us.
DH would retire.
Money for education for all grandkids
travel
donations to all our favorite charities
More DVC points

I would invest most of it and live off the interest. I would start an endowment fund for our kids' old school to either build a new school or cover operating expenses (Catholic school). I would give some to our current church's building fund. We have already talked about starting some scholarships so we would do more of that.

I wouldn't "buy" family member's homes but I would gift them money that would cover their mortgage payments-mainly comes down to tax issues and none of the one's I would help have mortgage payments in excess of the federal gift limits.

We were travel, a LOT.

I would probably buy a golf course too and set it up to really encourage families to play the game.

I would still expect our kids to pay for a good portion of their college education and we would then help them buy their first house. We would still expect them to make their own way in the world but we would probably do things like pay for vacations for them, etc. I would not want my kids to end up like a lot of trust fund people I know.

The first thing I would do is drop my home phone line and change my cell phone number though :lmao:. Probably get a new email address too.

I would buy my son a warbird of some sort, buy my hubby a KingAir, and pay off my parents debt, pay for my niece's college, put some away for my son to go to whatever college he chooses, and travel - lots and lots of travel! I would pay off my home and any other debt we had. Give a bunch to the NICU where my son stayed when he was born, and put a bunch into my church that is going through a hard time. I would also find a charity, such as Water

Our lotteries don't even go that high :rotfl:

We would move, far, far away from here ;)

This is something DH and I discuss, just in case :rotfl2:

Make home improvements. Pay off mortgage, student loans, etc. Help parents and other family members. Buy some stuff. Put some away for my kids and niece's college. Invest a little (2 or 3 million). Give some to church. Most of it would go to charity (maybe create a foundation, or maybe just give the money away). I don't even think I'd quit my job.

Oh, and buy into DVC.

I'd buy some property and build a house and a farm. Not giant or over the top, but comfortable with room for family to visit. I'd send dd to private school. I'd help DS with school. I'd build a small guest house on my property for my mom to come live in. I'd help my dad with soem house repairs, and invest in my brother's business. I'd pay of our debt. We'd go on a great vacation out west and in the Caribbean. I'd invest the rest and live off the interest.

Oh and I guess I would have to do something for the inlaws too (but I'd let Dh work that out.)

LOL Nah, queen you don't want a Maserati. I was in Miami Beach one year and a local dealer was having some type of fundraiser, where you made a donationa and they gave you a ride in a Maserati. Maybe it's my "old bones" but boy you feel the bumps along the way. :rotfl:

uhm let's see. If I could keep it quiet, I would first pay off my bills (house, car, college tuition). I would probably buy a vacation home some where in Europe, nothing big or grand. Portugal or France would be my first two picks.

I want to do an African safari. I want to see giraffas in their natural habitat and a pack of zebras (do zebras live in packs?) I want to see a cheetah.
I would love to open an all girls school though. One that focused on science and technology. one that encourage girls and be able to expose them to awesome women role models.

I would give a whole bunch of money to my kid's schools, my church and other charities that I support. I'd help out friends and family who need it. I wouldn't move, love the neighborhood too much, but we'd make some home improvements a little sooner (and a lot nicer) than the process is going now.

dh would call off work rich, too. :rotfl: Then, we'd spend the summer traveling the world, and take a little time deciding whether and where we'd like to buy a vacation home. Oh, and I'd buy myself a little convertible for when I'm not carting all the kids around.
