that went to bed with a kid one night, and then had disappeared, where would you be hiding? So far the answer is that you would NOT be anywhere in the bed sheets, stuffed animals, under the bed, anyone else's bed, the laundry, or anywhere else one might think of. So my question to you, is where else would you go if you were a toy snake? It's driving me NUTS that I can't find this thing. I'm sure it'll turn up eventually, and probably scare the dickens out of me (fairly realistic little thing) when I do find it.

Did you check between the bed and the wall (either at the head of the bed or side)? :)

Good luck!

My three year old thinks that dinosuars like to eat snakes, so he shoves any snake toys he has into the mouths of any dinosaur toys he has.

I doubt that is where yours is, but could it be something like that, it is with another toy?

All good ideas that I will be investigating momentarily. This is really driving me nuts!

If I were a snake, I would try to find a cowboy's boot to hide in.

I would guess it is the frame of the bed in between the mattress/box spring and frame.

This reminds me when I was out with my sister a a bar and she noticed that the large amethyst in her ring was missing. She looked all over the floor and could not find it. She looked for an hour and gave up. I felt like Sherlock Holmes when I correctly deduced that if fell out when it hit something, and it did not fall on the floor then, it may be attached to what it hit. I found the gem with two facets embedded into the wood of the chair she was sitting in.

:lmao:

My guess is in the linens somewhere, it may turn up in your dryer soon.

Try not to think about how it may have come to life and is slithering around your house right now......:scared1::laughing:

in the pj feet??

Or in the slippers on the floor??

between the walls and the bed frame..

or under the mattress near the bedframe??

HOpe you find that critter (real or fake) FAST

If you were in my cousin's house, you'd be somewhere warm and dark....like inside the dog - who seems to double as a (self appointed) form of garbage disposal.:confused3 What that dog hasn't eaten......

Thank GOODNESS that that snake is not real! The thing was sitting on the arm of my chair in the living room. He must have taken it downstairs and left it there. He told me over and over that he didn't take it out of his bed, but there it was! I just happened to be standing there folding the laundry, look up and there it was staring at me! I have one happy little boy with his Silly Snake - probably one of his most beloved toys. Thank you all for the tips as to where Silly might have been hiding - I feel so much better that we found him!

Hmmmm.... does your DS have siblings....just a thought. It's amazing how much goes missing in my house that I find in the most unlikely spots...like the toothbrush on top of the sheraton desk. :rolleyes1:sad2::rotfl2:

Boooo! I missed Snake Watch 2011.

I'm bummed too. this could have been as good as the great hampster watch.

:lmao:This reminds me of my DS he has a small wooden snake that if you look at it the right way it can look real. Him and my DH have a little game that they occasionally hide it under each others blankets or pillows, I have gotten into bed a few times before my DH and saw the little snake peeking out from under his pillow and almost screamed. They haven't done it for awhile maybe it is time for me to find the snake and hide it under one of their pillows.:rolleyes1
