If you were a CM in a park what would you want to do?

What would you want to do as a CM in any of the parks?


I would like to work at the HM as a GHOST HOST

and....

I would like to be A CHARACTER (especially uh....well, you, know..TIGGER!!!)

Anyone else?????

My lifelong dream has been to have some kind of creative position at WDW. I studied theater design in college and now I'm in theater management, but one of these days when a position pops up I'm gonna go for it!

Specifically I'd like to do set/lights/sound, etc for either rides of theatrical productions. I don't think any job in the world could make me happier.

If I were more of a traditional cast member, I'd like to be one of the hosts for Millionaire. lol. Or the gangster in the Great Movie Ride. The ghost host at HM would be fun too, that was a good idea.

I think I'd be happy with ANY position at WDW!

But, I think walking around in one of those heavy costumes on a hot Orlando day would be torture, so character is probably out.

Even though I've applied at least 5 times for some type of CM job (TDS and Call Centers). If I got to choose... I'd definitely want to be at MK being either a character (face, if I had the look ) or one of the helpers to the characters! I just love seeing the looks on the kids and parents faces when they see Mickey, etc for the first time!

This probably sounds crazy, but I would love to be Tinkerbell and fly before the fireworks!!! I did learn during KTTK tour that I'm the perfect height to be Mickey or Minnie - 5 feet!!

..but what I would really love to do is to be able to go into the castle (in areas other than the restaurant, of course!

That reminds me when me and my hubby took our nephews back several years ago and we were sitting on the curb on Main Street waiting for the parade and fireworks and the streetsweeper came by and there was an ice cream cone laying on the ground that a kid had dropped and the CM came by with that thing and just chomped it up! My nephews (age 7 and 10) were laughing and just having a good ol' time watching it!!

Here we were at the most wonderful place on earth and attractions all around them and there they were "attracted" to the street sweeper!!! So cute!!!!!!!

No parks for me. I want to drive the Mono-Rail. That is what I'm gonna do when i retire in about 50 some years . I gotta get out of college and work my whole life before that time.

I always wanted to work at the Tower of Terror ride being the scary bell boy. The ride was always so much more fun whenever the person really got into their character and made it scary. That will be me someday. I always do our halloween parades for our town and I am always the scary person scaring all the kids. Amy

I would love to be a Character Greeter. Taking pictures of families with the characters and watching them interact with the guests would just be great!!

I also would love to be one of the Tour Guides for the Keys To The Kingdom or Backstage Magic Tours. I would just love being able to talk about Walt Disney World all day long!!!

In March 2006 I am moving to Orlando and If i could get any job I would like to also be a Ghost Host at the HM but would also like to work at the front desk of any Deluxe hotel. But it would only be Part time as I will need a full time job that pays well so I can take a fun job at Disney!

If i had to do it all over again I wouldnt change a thing I loved working on BTM however I would love to have cross trained at Splash! Or I would love to do audience control for all the parades day and evening that IMHO is the best and fun job at the parks!

Ideally I want to end up as a writer for Disney writing pre-shows for rides, scripts for cm's things like that!

I would just like to be on Main Street USA greeting people to Walt Disney World..... just answering questions, trading pins with children, making conversation and making everyone feel welcome. I guess I just want to share my happiness and see smiles on faces when they first see the castle.
