Where did you get it?
I can't find any in any retail stores and I would hate to have to order one and pay for shipping & handling when I am desperately trying to save as much money as I can for our upcoming Disney trips.
Thank you!

I bought mine at Micheal's for $1.00. :rotfl:

I found mine at the Dollar store for, well, a dollar. They were in the check-out aisles. They're really tricky to find when you want one, aren't they?

I found mine at a Dollar Store-The best $1 I have ever spent.

It's the size of a small envelope and has accordian style pockets. I found it in the section with the stationary items.

The school/office supply section at Kmart. My son had one on his school supply list for geometry. When I finally found one (looked a lot of places), I got me one, too. It was $3-$4.

I got mine on ebay for like 20 bucks but lol and I dare laugh at this with all I save on coupons I deserve a nice leather coupon organizer lol anyhow it doesn't look like a coupon organizer it looks like a nice big wallet and its outlasted any organizer I've had before.

I wear out the ones from the $1 store. I would usually have to get a new one like 3-4 times a year. I got a nice plastic one at Target for about $4.

I bought one of the large index-card boxes and a pack of brightly multicolored index cards. I set up sections according to category and file them that way (it gives me a much greater selection of specific items). I carry it in my car (unless I'm adding) so I always have it with me. Waiting for kids at school, or even in a long line at the store is when I purge the expired coupons. And I learned many years ago to write my name & phone # on the bottom in permanent marker---I once left it in a shopping cart (gasp!) and thankfully someone turned it in but they told me they almost threw it out. It works great for me, it's hard plastic (it's gotten wet but the coupons are fine) and it snaps shut as well.

I bought a couple at Dollar Store but they were made of paper and didn't hold up well for me.

Found plastic/vinyl accordion types at CVS on clearance for about .70 each if I remember and nabbed all three of them. They work great and are very sturdy so I don't think I'll ever wreck them like I do the paper ones.

I have left mine somewhere TWICE!! You think I'd learn!!! I get so mad when I know I had a great coupon in there and now I've lost it. I'll be putting my name on number on my new one for sure!

I bought mine at Staples and it is actually called a check organizer. It has 13 sections and runs about $6.

I also use a check organizer, wonder why they still have these since most banks do not send back checks but oh well, and like it for coupons because of the longer pockets.

Found it at walmart really inexpensive. I fill it and leave it in the car so when I am out I always have it. Other wise I always seemed to leave it at home, and then wished I had it when I stopped for whatever.

I have bought a few at the Target dollar spot, not sure if they have them there all the time, or just sporatically.

The cheap ones don't work for me and haven't ever worked for me. If you are a heavy couponer, this won't be sufficient.

I used to do the binder and baseball card thing and I HATED it! It is nice for viewing things but it took forever to clip them just so.....to fit in those darned sleeves.

Now I have purchased a heavy duty 4x6 size card holder box and use the hard plastic a-z cards and separate my coupons that way. It is far quicker and easier and I find it works best for me

It was about $12 up front cost, but it has more than paid for itself in just one week of couponing.

Dawn

Mine is homemade.

I use a binder with baseball card pages. Each baseball card page has an idex tab on the side with a category. Coupons go intot he slot. For coupons that are big, I'll fold them with the product facing out so I know whatthe coupon is for. I also mark specific slots with PostIt flags to let me know that a coupon is expiring soon.

I grocery shop weekly.

I use a plastic shoe box . Everything to put my box together came from the dollar store. I made my own seperations with index cards and added tabs to the top to see Categorys easier. This also allows me to be more specific to my needs. I have store specific and rebate sections as well.

I like the idea of putting my name in it. Think I'm going to do that when I get home.

Thank you all for responding!
So I went to Target today and 2 employees told me they do not carry coupon organizers.
I could not locate them at Walmart, looking through the stationary/paper/index cards/office supplies aisles and of course there was noone to assist me. My Dollar Tree did not have any either. I'm off to Staples and Office Max tomorrow. Thanks to you I now know to look or ask for checks organizers. That's very helpful. Good thing all those stores are only 5 minutes from my house :)

I looked all over for one. I found it at the grocery store (Giant). It was in the baking aisle is that section that has all the over priced kitchen stuff (spatulas, whisks...) In a package and hanging on the wall. About $3 I think.

penguin087, thank you so much for looking! I would have never thought to look in that section. We do not have a Giant here in Central Florida, but I was able to finally buy a coupon organizer at Staples this morning. Those office stores are always empty, so there were plenty of associates to help me locate one. time to start clipping!!!
