If you upgrade to AP, you need to know...

I just got back from our trip and it was my first time upgrading a hopper into an annual pass and wanted to pass along a few tidbits.

It was nice that we were able to use the magic morning or a black out date and then just upgrade to AP for the same total cost : )

We had to get our pictures taken in Disneyland for the annual pass, so be aware. The lines can be quite long particularly at the end of the night. I had thought to do it at DCA thinking lines would be shorter, but they don't do it.

I think they must have had some problems with people transferring tickets. We handed over our tickets, even though they were signed by us, she asked us which was the first day we used it. What park did we go to that day? Around what time we got there. They seemed quite serious in their questions.

Obviously I had no problem answering her questions, but keep in mind if you trade tickets within your group this could be an issue so you really need to know. I don't think the exact time was required I just told her mid-morning and she was fine.

They asked for my id which was required but none for my 5 year old.

Just thought I'd share my experience.

We did that this summer. He asked us questions about when we went too. I think it was so you can't just take someone's ticket and upgrade it. They want to know that it was your ticket. He commented on how many times we hopped back and forth between parks.

My AP picture was taken right after the 5.4 earthquake which happened while we were getting APs. :scared1:
