would you use it as 'fun money' for the trip, with some savings added, or upgrade to APs, in the hopes that you'll have another trip before the year is up?

Edited to add another option - Or should we extend to 10 day MYW Plus w/hopping and no exp?

I would extend to 10 MYW Plus no expiration and save the rest. :earboy2:

We usually have AP's, so I would either use it for fun money, or upgrade our room maybe? But, if I didn't have and AP, I would go for that in hopes of squeezing in another trip. AP rates are sometimes hard to resist!

I have AP's too so I would use it to stay longer at Disney or upgrade my resort.

Assuming that my trip was already planned and I already had the money budgeted but that airfare had not been booked, then I would use a few hundred dollars to add an extra day to my vacation (1 more day hotel, food & park tix). If airfare was booked, I would save a few hundred dollars toward next vacation.

As for the remainder, I would use it toward something responsible -- paying down debt, saving for big household purchases, put it away for retirement or college savings, etc. Guess I'm just too darn responsible...

Since we are AP type people and like AS Sports just fine we woul d just stay for more days. Maybe a few more sit down meals, more since we have the time than the money though. We are l ucky in that we can do anything we really want to do. We are people of simple tastes. LOL

I would simply renew my AP. I hope I can get my tax refund before it expires.

I would go to the turkey leg stand at mgm and buy turkey legs for the first 200 people in line. I really would!!

I would use it for fun money. We are on a pretty tight budget so even on vacation we usually have to watch what we spend - we have a food budget, souvenier budget, stay at a value resort unless we get a really good FL discount for a moderate.....Having that extra money to perhaps do a few sit down meals or buy some souveniers we really want but couldn't usually afford would be something really special for us.

I had been saving about 1K for DS13 & I to eat at PS meals this Aug
Had our taxes done and about 1/4 of the tax return is going towards those PSs. Airfare paid, resorts paid, APs paid

Now I can start saving for our Aug 06 cruise. 1/4 of our tax return went for that deposit.

I'm not as daring as far as adding to my vacation. I just had $2000.00 fall into my lap and I look at it as getting the same trip for $2000.00 less then most people :cool1:

Of course it was very important to deposit that 2000 and QUICKLY pay the mouse. Extra money like that tends to melt away if left sitting.

I wouldn't add to my May trip, I would start planning another trip for 2006 and maybe do lagoon view instead of garden at Poly.
