If you rented a pool home or TH....

Is it possible for bugs to get into the pool area? I know they are covered with fences, etc. but can bugs get through them?

We went in Sept during love bug season and the main pool was crawling with them (we stayed in a condo).... all the chairs were covered, etc. We couldn't just lounge around and had to keep moving or the bugs landed all over you. Just wondering if that is also an issue with a private pool...

that's awful. we were there in Sept, they were annoying as they kept crashing in to us but they were not covering anything. i suspect screens will keep most of them out.

The lovebugs can't get in a screened pool. We've stayed in many vacation homes and have never had a problem with bugs in the screened pool area. We were happy for the screene the year we went in Sept.

I would never say never but chances are there could be a whole in a screen and it could happen. If there should be call the man/co and they will fix the screen for you or should and you can have a better holiday.

Most home owners try to do their best but sometimes things happen just like in any home you would own. It is how they deal with issues that makes a world of difference.
