If you purchased EBCI and you're under 36hrs...

O.K., so I purchased the EBCI (for Southwest) for myself and my family and we're now under the 36hrs, so I tried to check us in...and it won't let me? Is this normal?

Tomorrow am it will be 24hrs, do I just try to print the boarding pass at that point, has SW checked in for me?

the point of early bird check in is that you don't check in. southwest checks you in up to 36hrs prior.
and you can go print your boarding pass up to 24hrs prior.

Yes, that is normal. They check you in automatically 36 hours out but you cannot see what boarding position you got until you are 24 hours out. At that point you go through the check-in process online and it will show you your boarding passes and you can print them. You can also print them at the airport.

Yes, you can print your boarding passes starting 24 hours out.
