We have to finish in MK with Wishes - it's always the last night - no matter how long we are at WDW. It sends us off with a magical feeling - and we savor it - especially knowing it may be a while before we get back.

So...I'd do...
Day 1 - MK early, Epcot late;
Day 2 - AK early, MGM late;
Day 3 - Epcot early, MK late;

I agree. A Really Bad Egg's plan seems like a good one too - especially if you invest in Park Hoppers because you'd really get your $$'s worth.

DH and I are also doing 3 days in October. Here is our plan:

Day 1 (arrival day) - Epcot in the PM
Day 2 - Islands of Adventure (I know, I know, but DH insisted)
Day 3 - MK - Spector & wishes w/dinner at the CG
Day 3 1/2 (departure day) - DTD in the AM
