If you only had 3 days in disney...

We are doing a three day in 2 weeks...just DH and I

Day 1 - MVMCP
Day 2 - AK 1/2 day and then Disney Springs shopping
Day 3 - MK full day (Our anniversary!)

We did a 3 park day trip in May. Arrived Thursday late, left Monday early, 3 full days in the park. We hit MK at rope drop on Friday, hit BTMR, SplM, POTC, Jungle Cruise. Hopped to Epcot, had FP for Soarin, and enjoyed the F/G show. Stayed in Epcot till after dinner at Coral Reef. Then hopped back to MK and stayed until after midnight. Day 2, DHS in the morning, a nap, and then back to DHS for fantasmic, then back to MK. Stayed until 2am. Rode everything, including 7dmt with only 20 minute wait. Day 3 all day at MK, FP for 7dmt and rode everything we wanted to, stayed until after wishes, and then went to the hotel to crash. It was a whirlwind trip. Came back exhausted, but had a great time. Rode everything we wanted to ride, didn't see a lot of shows, but thats ok.
If the kids had been with us, it would have been completely different. DH and I just go, go, GO!

I'm going to be different, since it is two adults and F&G is happening. You didn't say where you were staying but I stay at Epcot resorts.

Arrival day - Check in, head over to MK and ride my 3 rides with FP then hop over to Epcot to check out a few booths. If not exhausted and there is time, I'd head back to MK to catch the FWs.

Friday - Morning at AK, then hop over to Epcot for FW and booths for the rest of the day. I've not had to use FPs for AK if I do mornings, just get there for rope drop, hop on safari, head over to Everest and either do single rider or get in standby, early mornings it's not usually crowded. I don't do dinasaur any more but you should be able to hop on it in standby as well. Truthfully, the only ride I use FP for at Epcot is soarin, which will be closed while you are there. I do single rider at TT and standby for everything else and have still been able to get every ride I want done in just a few hours.

Saturday - Morning at HS, then hop over to Epcot for booths. If it is too crowded or you are just tired of booths (I never am) hop back over to MK for either some rides or shopping.

Sunday - Maybe hop over to MK to say bye. I actually do Epcot on leaving day but I drive and can leave whenever I want.

Just my husband and I. We have hoppers. Arrive mid morning on a thursday, leaving early morning on a sunday. During flower and garden festival.

I'd do one full day at MK, one day at AK and then the rest Epcot.

So, probably Thursday Epcot, Friday MK, Saturday AK, with Epcot at night.

We are staying at the yacht club. Hopefully this will help my husband catch the disney bug!

Did I mention we're leaving the night before to drive down...14 or so hours. I'm crazy...but we love road trips...

I think my tentative plans are to do epcot when we arrive and eat somewhere in the world showcase. We have Cape may cafe ADR that night for my birthday dinner....because hubby and I LOVE seafood and love cape may! Plus our resort is right there. If we're not in a food coma after dinner I think the plan is to stroll back over to epcot to watch illuminations (he hasn't seen any of the night time shows. Because our last trip I was too busy eating on the deluxe dining plan to really enjoy anything but the food! Never again. Hehe)

That Friday I'm thinking animal kingdom in the morning...just for EE...it's his favorite! And maybe a trek on the safari ride. Then over to Magic Kingdom for some Adventureland fun. (And some chicken and waffles. MMMMM)

No other dining reservations for the rest of the trip...because that stresses me to the max needing to be at a certain place by a certain time. I'd like to catch wishes on that Friday night so we aren't up too late saturday.

Saturday I plan on rope dropping HS to get the headliners in and then do whatever floats my boat after that. Well have 4 free passes to mini golf with our package...and hubby and I love mini golf. I might squeeze that in, but if I don't I won't worry about it.

I don't want to do any shows (besides fireworks) this trip because we're planning on coming back at the end of October for a whole week...so we'll have time to slow down for that trip.

I want to have some sort of a plan...but also want to be spontaneous. We'll see what happens in 133 days!

I would spend a full day at Epcot if you care at all about flower and garden. Just looking at the displays and trying the food booths will fill up the day. We really enjoyed F&G in April this year. DH and I tried something from each food booth and really enjoyed doing that!

I would probably do:
Day 1: AK
Day 2: EP
Day 3: MK

WE haven't hopped for our last few trips. Don't miss it at all.

If it were me and my DH, we'd have a day at MK, a day at Epcot and a day at AK, with a possible hop over to MK for the evening if it worked out.

My last three trips to Disney have been 3 park days:

2010- full day at MK, full day at DHS, morning/ afternoon in AK then hopped to Epcot
2012- full day at MK, full day at DHS, MNSSHP
2015- full days at MK, DHS (yes, I can still spend a whole day there! Plus the Osbourne lights will be on), and Epcot.

We go in with the attitude that we can't see it all and we don't try. We make a priority list and then anything extra we do is a bonus.

Day 1: MK with dinner at be our guest.
Day 2: EPCOT dinner at via Napoli
Day 3: morning at AK then afternoon at HS and dinner at brown derby

Day 1- Magic Kingdom
Day 2 - Epcot
Day 3- AK (unless around Christmas, then HS)

I'm taking DD18 down as a Xmas present the third week of January before her college classes resume on the 26th. We'll arrive to AKL around noon to check-in hopefully and have ADRs at Boma at 6:30. I'm really hoping it will be warm enough to enjoy the pool area that day; if not, we'll head to either the Boardwalk or DS. We have three days tickets and I am following the touring plans...first day at Epcot with a dinner ADR at Via Napoli, 2nd day her choice (either HS or AK), and 3rd day at MK with lunch at BOG and dinner reservations at Sanaa to top off the trip before flying home first thing the next morning, she straight to her college city and me home to work the next day.

Day 1: Epcot with CP @ 5, MVMCP @7
Day 2: Epcot with CP @ 5, MVMCP @7
Day 3: Epcot then Osborne lights, US for Disapalooza

If it was just me and DH, we'd end up doing one MK day and two Epcot days. DH loves the food at Epcot, and is least interested in AK/DHS so we'd skip them.

If it were me and any of the kids, I'd do one day at MK, one at Epcot and a morning at AK with evening at DHS for the 3rd day.

This is interesting to read through this thread. DH and I are doing a 3 day weekend in Dec just to see the Osborne lights....never done it but always wanted to. Normally, we visit the world for 10-14 days so this 3 day trip is really different. I'm trying to convince myself that it's just like a trip to Vegas so that I'm not disappointed when I have to go home. I will have March to look forward to, so that helps.

Our plans....
We arrive at MCO at 2:30pm (still trying to get on an earlier flight). We will DME to resort then head to Epcot resorts to tour the Christmas decor then dinner at Morimoto.
Day 2...breakfast and a tour of MK resorts decor, then an afternoon nap before MVMCP.
Day 3...sleep in a little then Epcot for most of the morning/afternoon before going to DHS for the evening.

We would also like to squeeze in a few hours of shopping offsite is possible. I can switch our flight home to depart MCO at 9pm which seems like the best option to allow some shopping time.

It depends where I'm staying. If we stay over near Epcot, we often go there, and maybe go swimming (BC/YC/Swan/Dolphin). If I'm over near MK, we would probably go there. When we're at a value, we tend to max our time in the park. We had a fun short stay at a treehouse. It was great just to explore the area... well, actually on check out ay we went to US.

It also depends on my party, and our tickets, what kind of deal we've got, and special events.

Whatever we feel like doing!
