If you only had 3 days in disney...

My upcoming 3 days,I'm doing a party at MK (day 1) (plus, probably part of a day since I have an AP), an evening at HS to see Osbourne lights (day 2) and some time at Epcot to try the new Garden Grill breakfast (day 3).

As an AP holder who is in Florida for another reason and just tacking this onto the end, my answers are probably different than someone who only has 3 days as their first and only trip. Also, it's just my 7 year old and I and we know what we like best and know what we can skip.

Who is the "you" in this scenario? A single adult, couple or family with young kids?

That's my normal trip; 1/2 day at MK in the morning, 1/2 at EPCOT in the evening. Then switch to 1/2 at EPCOT in the morning and 1/2 at MK in the evening. The third day can be any combo of AK/DHS or Disney Springs thrown in. Also, 3rd day option is hotel hopping and a park.

Just my husband and I. We have hoppers. Arrive mid morning on a thursday, leaving early morning on a sunday. During flower and garden festival.

MY upcoming solo trip in January I will have 3 days to be in the parks:

Arrival day: MK, then dinner at Sanaa
2nd day: AK, break, then EPCOT for dinner at Restaurant Marrekesh
3rd day: MK, break, then to back to MK for fireworks

I just wanted to add the fact that I would love to spend all day at one park but with my knees being so messed up I need a break.

We're doing 3 days in a couple weeks - our family & my parents... We're taking advantage of the PM EMH at MK & Epcot. We'll be exhausted after we're done, but so worth it for the 3 short days we have! Here's our itinerary (as it stands now):

Day 1: Arrive early, check in... Do AK for part of the day, and HS the rest of the day to see Osborne lights & Fantasmic
Day 2: MK All day. Possibly a break in the middle. EMH 11pm-1am
Day 3: Epcot All day... F&W Festival. EMH 9-11 PM

My daughter and I are going early December for 3 days. Our plan is as follows,

Day 1 - Flight lands at 8:40AM. Take ME to hotel, relax, walk the grounds. 1:45PM lunch, 4PM MVMCP!
Day 2 - Full day at Epcot
Day 3 - Wake up early and head to AK for rope drop. Leave mid-day and head to Hollywood Studios. Finish evening with Fantasmic and head to airport

We're meeting my husband when his flight lands at 11PM and spending the last night at the Hyatt for a cruise departure on Day 4. =)

3 day trips are awesome! We have done most 3 day trips recently.

Usually MK one day Epcot at night
DHS or AK one day Epcot at night
Third day either Epcot all day or MK and Epcot or all day MK.

Can you tell me like Epcot?

I have a solo trip coming up thanksgiving week where I have 3 days at Disney. Day 1 is Epcot where I will be doing the Undiscovered Future World tour. (Keys to the Kingdom was already sold out all 3 days) I also have a reservation for Biergarten. Day 2 is Magic Kingdom with a late dinner at BoG. Day 3 is Animal Kingdom in the morning, lunch at Tusker House then head to DHS for Osbourne Lights dessert party and Fantasmic.

I (we) are experienced park-goers too. I would be spending a day or two half days in MK and the rest in EPCOT for the festival. Festival trumps AK and HS for me.

For best bang for my buck, I'd get a 1-day ticket with WPF&M upgrade and spend 1 day each at:

Animal Kingdom
Blizzard Beach
Typhoon Lagoon

For a bit more $, a 2-day ticket with WPF&M and:
1 day at AK
1 day at Epcot
1/2 day at BB
1/2 day at TL

1 full day at MK for sure. If DW wasn't with me I would split the other three days. I could easily finish up AK around lunch time and then head to DHS with a couple sets of MBs full of FPs. DHS could be done quickly now with all the closures and Fantasmic is a must see. EPCOT can be done by early evening and I would head to MK or DHS for late night stuff. I am not a big fan of Illuminations or WS.

My upcoming Princess Half Marathon trip is a little longer than that, but we are only getting three-day park hoppers.

On arrival day we are going the runner's expo and then to AKR to explore and have dinner at Jiko.
Park Day 1 will be EMH at MK, brunch at Kona, afternoon at AK and evening at EPCOT with dinner at San Angel Inn
Park Day 2 will be pre-rope drop breakfast at BOG, morning at MK, afternoon and evening at Studios with dinner at HBD
On the half marathon day we will spend the afternoon at Disney Springs and evening at Poly (Trader Sam's!)
Park Day 3 will be a morning and afternoon at EPCOT (Breakfast at Akershus) before heading to the airport

I've done a couple 3 days trips due to vacation time limitations.

This December the plan is:

Day 1: MK for RD, over to HS for Fantasmic and Osborne Lights. May hop over to Epcot for Illuminations if feeling ambitious.
Day 2: AK in the morning, over to MK for Wishes, MSEP.
Day 3: Epcot for RD, see Candlelight Processional, head over to HS for Osborne Lights and EMH.

With only adults in our party we can move around quickly and like to hop.

I do this just DH and I all the time.

Day 1:
Drive in
Check in to hotel noon/1pm
MK all day
Dinner at MK (we like to go to CP)
Wishes

Day 2:
Epcot!
Dinner in WS

Day 3:
Either more MK or AK.
Grab a CS lunch
Drive home in Afternoon

Would love to do a trip like that...and we always hop -- so much more flexibility in your touring.

EP -- arrival day and possibly hop to MK or monorail resort for dinner and parade/wishes- even better if EMH (Thursday)
MK -- 1/2 day and hop to Epcot for dinner/illuminations/attractions (Friday)
AK -- earling morning (am emh on saturdays?) thru mid afternoon and hop to HS for dinner/fantasmic/attractions (Saturday)

Hope whatever you do -- you have a fabulous trip!

We will be there for 4 days in a few weeks. Our trips are usually longer and we usually don't have hoppers either. I am pretty excited to hop around and tour differently than we're used to.

Day 1-flight lands at 7:30 am. MK morning, maybe Disney Springs, hop to Epcot.
Day 2-AK, dinner at Morimoto Asia/Disney Springs and then Yeeha Bob show at Riverside.
Day 3-Epcot most of the day, hop to MK
Day 4-Disney Springs, Epcot

Just my husband and I. We have hoppers. Arrive mid morning on a thursday, leaving early morning on a sunday. During flower and garden festival.
Thursday - First night - Hollywood Studios (Fantasmic! dinner package) or Magic Kingdom (Cinderella's Table or Be Our Guest for dinner)
Friday - Epcot (avoid on weekends) - stroll and peruse Future World followed by World Showcase. I'm not a fan of Illuminations, so I recommend Park Hopping.
Saturday - Animal Kingdom morning. Park hop to whatever you missed.
